CURRENT ROLE & IMPACT
I teach lower primary classes

PERSONAL INTERESTS & HOBBIES
In my free time, I enjoy singing traditional Luhya songs, milking cows, and storytelling
with my children around the fireplace.

BACKGROUND & CALLING
I grew up in Kwanza, a rural area just outside Kitale. I saw many children miss school to look after goats and cattle, which motivated her to become a teacher to keep children—especially girls—in school.
PASSION & TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I love seeing my pupils write their first words and count numbers correctly. I believe giving them a strong foundation is critical.
CHALLENGES & NEEDS
The school sometimes lacks meals with a balanced diet comprised of all three food groups, i.e, proteins, vitamins, and carbohydrates.
DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE
With help, I hope to see the pupils get three full meals all comprising of a balanced diet as I believe it is very critical for the growth and development of the pupils’ growing bodies.
