I grew up in a small Kitale settlement where education was scarce. I often studied under a tree. That experience made me determined to change the story for others.

Children must know where they come from to value where they are going.

We lack proper classrooms and enough learning materials. The students have to share a few textbooks among themselves, and also some of them have torn uniforms and can't afford to buy new ones.

I hope to establish a small resource center like a library in the school with maps and history books.
