EDUCATION & TRAINING

I studied at a teacher training college in Eldoret with help from well-wishers. I was then hired at Elevation Academy Kitale in 2024 to date.

CURRENT ROLE & IMPACT

I teach maths in play group- PP3. Many pupils fear math, but I make it fun with songs and real-life examples.. with about 40 students in each class .

PERSONAL INTERESTS & HOBBIES

When I’m not teaching, I play football with the children, which strengthens our bond.

BACKGROUND & CALLING

I was born in Kiminini, Kitale. My father could not read, but he believed strongly in education. He inspired me to become a teacher.

PASSION & TEACHING PHILOSOPHY

I enjoy teaching maths to pupils. I have always passed mathematics and it makes me happy when students understand it and get a positive attitude towards it.

CHALLENGES & NEEDS

We lack textbooks, and sometimes ten children share one book during lessons.

DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE

I dream of pursuing further education in mathematics to mentor the next generation of teachers.
