BACKGROUND & CALLING
Hello, my name is Salome. I grew up in a farming village outside Endebess, near the slopes of Mt. Elgon. As a child, my teachers encouraged me to study hard despite financial struggles, and now I want to pass the same encouragement to my own students.
PASSION & TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
I enjoy teaching practical lessons like soil conservation and farming methods, which students can apply at home.
CHALLENGES & NEEDS
I often teach with no laboratory equipment or proper stationery. Sometimes, students do not draw science diagrams because of lack of books and stationery.
DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE
With support, I dream of setting up a small science corner with charts, models, and simple tools to make lessons more engaging to students.
