EDUCATION & TRAINING
I completed teacher training in 2018.I have been working at a kindergarten since then until I was then hired at Elevation Academy Kitale in 2024 to date.
CURRENT ROLE & IMPACT
I teach lower primary English
and Kiswahili. Helping children
learn to read fluently brings me
great joy.I teach about 45
students in each class.
PERSONAL INTERESTS & HOBBIES
I enjoy writing poems and
reading novels in my spare time.

BACKGROUND & CALLING
I come from a humble family in Kitale. As a child, I longed to become a teacher because I admired how my teachers cared for us.
PASSION & TEACHING PHILOSOPHY
Language unlocks opportunities for a brighter future. I enjoy when students can communicate fluently.
CHALLENGES & NEEDS
We do not have enough readers or storybooks, so children have little practice outside class.
DREAMS FOR THE FUTURE
I dream of writing simple storybooks in Kiswahili for rural children.
