Join Us for Our Mission Trips in 2026!
Our mission teams usually consists of 8–10 volunteers, but all group sizes are welcome—especially workplace or church groups.
What to Expect:
- Easy Start: Sign up and take part in 1–2 virtual meetups to connect with your team before departure.
- All-Inclusive: VITAL handles all the details—flights, hotels, meals, and ground transportation are covered.
- Travel Together: Fly as a group and dive into hands-on service, side by side.
What You Will Do:
- Visit juvenile prisons, provide humanitarian aid on the streets, and help set up mobile medical camps.
- Volunteers are organized by skills—those with medical backgrounds serve in clinics, while others help with outreach, logistics, and support roles.
- No medical experience? No problem! There’s a VITAL role for everyone.
Who Can Join:
- All ages are welcome! We recommend ages 14+ for youth, and teens should travel with a parent or adult guardian.
- Perfect for families, friends, or individuals looking to serve and learn together.
Where You Will Serve:
- Experience the local culture by visiting churches, primary and secondary schools, and vocational training centers.
- Work directly with underserved communities and see the difference you make.

Congo:- Medical clinic for a large orphanage (200 children)
- Support for thousands of refugees arriving in Goma
- Health center offering urgent care, family care, and maternity services
- Supported over 1,000 babies
- 22 churches
- Multiple primary, secondary, and vocational schools (sewing and beauty)
- Outreach and support for local communities
- Mobile medical camps to remote villages
- 19 churches
- Hygiene kit distribution Leadership and entrepreneurship workshops
- Mosquito nets and malaria treatment ($3 per treatment, often unaffordable locally)
- Training for women and teens on how to create menstrual kits so that they know how to make them on their own

- Partnerships with local businesses for housing and essentials
- After-school English program for youth
- Relief work and entrepreneurship workshops
- 6 local churches and 1 in the capital
- Vocational schools for women and girls
- Sewing machines and as graduation gifts from our programs
- Literacy programs for children in brick factories
- Rickshaws, rescue, and, support for 42–200 families annually
- Clinics and food kits for Afghan refugees
