Hello Golfers! We have some EXCITING NEWS! The Refinery Christian Church is partnering with VITAL SOLUTIONS to build a church, school, and medical clinic in the city of Nyeri, Kenya. Vital Solutions is now the official sponsor of our yearly Golf trip and all proceeds from this trip will go towards our incredible community project in Nyeri. A team of 12 people from the Refinery will be headed to Kenya in November where they will put all proceeds made to immediate use on the project in Nyeri. Thank you all ahead of time for being a valuable part of bringing an incredible purpose to our annual trip that will be life changing for many, many people in the community of Nyeri.
Thus we are calling it GOLF FOR KENYA CUP!
Registration for the 2022 Golf for Kenya Cup is officially open and the deadline to register is August 1. The tournament runs Wed 9/7 – Fri 9/9. We will spend 2 nights and 3 days at the LaQuinta resort in Palm Springs, California, with 3 rounds of tournament golf included. Rounds will be played at Classic Club and Desert Willow Golf Resort. The cost is $500 and must be paid in full at the time of registration. An additional round on Thursday afternoon at Classic Club is available at the time of registration for $50 and includes a $15 lunch voucher.

We are playing two courses at the Desert Willow property that are highly ranked in California and nationally: Firecliff and Mountain View. Firecliff has been rated by Desert Golf Magazine as the best public access golf course 3 years in a row! In addition to the courses, we are continuing our tournament feature of live scoring via the Golf Genius app as well as the tournament formats just like last year. With live scoring you’ll be able to update your birdies and bogeys during the round so let the trash talk commence. Trust me when I say you don’t want to miss out this year!
