Our founder, Ben Sterciuc, a refugee himself from communist Romania in 1989, knew we had to get involved as soon as the war broke out in Ukraine. Since the beginning of the war in February of 2022, we have been partnering with 7 other organizations to provide humanitarian aid, medical aid, shelter, nutrition, legal advice, transportation, and emotional support.
